Partners will bring complementary expertise to the collaboration. RITES Ltd. an ISO 9001:2015 company has proven capabilities in the fields of transport, infrastructure, and disaster preparedness-related technologies in India. SMEC, on the other hand, has a track record in providing technical expertise and advanced engineering services to resolve complex challenges across the project lifecycle, from initial concept, feasibility, planning, and design through to construction, commissioning, and operation and maintenance across 40 markets globally.
RITES and SMEC have been collaborating on strategic infrastructure projects since 2018. One of the examples of this collaboration is a strategic Haryana Orbital Rail project in India where the two organizations are providing general consultancy services for the project implementation.
Building on existing strong ties, RITES and SMEC will identify infrastructure project opportunities globally, especially in Asia where public-private partnerships can encourage the adoption of smart technologies to scale up infrastructure initiatives and solutions. This approach will contribute towards the shared vision of building sustainable infrastructure.
“SMEC has forged strong ties with RITES over the years through collaboration on several landmark infrastructure projects. We are looking forward to working hand in hand with our partners towards building a resource-efficient for future generations”, – stated Mr. Andrew McKune, Executive Director of SMEC India.
